CCTV-13 Features WOGONG Machinery: Efficiency and Precision in Paddy Field Management March 8, 2023

On March 8, 2023 — just after the Awakening of Insects solar term that marks the start of mid-spring paddy plowing — CCTV-13 reported on WOGONG agricultural machinery at work around Dongting Lake, in the busiest farming season of the year. WOGONG crawler tractors and the WOGONG lime-spreading and rotary-tillage machine were working across tens of thousands of acres, setting the stage for that year's rice harvest.

Lime spreading is a soil improvement practice: it neutralizes soil acidity and boosts microbial activity. Healthier soil means better rice.

The WOGONG precision lime spreader is built to pair with Fujia Technology's flagship WOGONG crawler tractor, and it offers clear advantages for paddy field work. It enables conservation tillage, and it addresses a problem that wheeled tractors create — a deepening mud layer that leaves rice transplanters and harvesters stuck in the field and holds back full mechanization. It also completes paddy rotary tillage and lime spreading in a single pass.

Fujia Technology developed the WOGONG lime-spreading and rotary-tillage machine to support higher rice yields, and the design now holds 129 patents. In Yiyang, it serves the city's demonstration rice zones — nearly 37,300 hectares in all: two zones of about 670 hectares each in Ziyang District, plus 22 blocks of roughly 67 hectares each.
